Essex Winter Series is grateful to once again be one of the area’s local nonprofit recipients of funding from the Essex Savings Bank Community Investment Program (CIP). As President & CEO Diane Arnold noted her congratulatory comments, for 30 years Essex Savings Bank “continues to care deeply for this community.” We acknowledge that the Bank works – as all the area nonprofits do – to help, in Diane’s words, “make our corner of the world a better place.”
The CIP represents Essex Savings Bank’s commitment to community banking, providing donations to local nonprofits since 1995. The ballot portion of the CIP allowed each Bank customer to select three out of 95 local organizations to receive a portion from the $120,000 allotment based on the voting percentages for each nonprofit.
With a thank you to both Essex Savings Bank and the customers who included EWS in their votes, this year’s amount of $472 awarded to EWS will help to support our season programming, which each year touches the lives of so many who attend our world-class classical and jazz concerts as well as our outreach performances.
