The 2020 season opener celebrated Mihae Lee’s ten-year anniversary as Artistic Director of Essex Winter Series. The concert was performed by violinist extraordinaire Ani Kavafian and eleven of the phenomenal former Fenton Brown Emerging Artists of the past 10 years! It was truly a memorable reunion. The musicians were thrilled to perform Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet for such appreciative patrons and devoted fans for whom we at EWS are most grateful.
